Mangrove Planting: Making Dubai’s Coastline Greener
Our mangrove planting session brought together 30 employees who got their hands dirty for a good cause. The team worked together under the morning sun, planting young mangrove saplings along Dubai’s coastline. Everyone learned about these amazing trees that protect our shores, capture carbon, and provide homes for local wildlife.
The best part? Seeing everyone pitch in, from senior managers to new team members, all working side by side in the mud. There were plenty of laughs, some muddy boots, and lots of photos to remember the day. The team planted over 100 mangrove saplings, each one a step towards a greener future for Dubai.
Most team members had never planted mangroves before, and they were amazed to learn how these trees help fight climate change. The local marine biologist who guided us shared that each mangrove can absorb up to four times more carbon than rainforest trees. That’s making a real difference for our environment!
